Our client is a Global leader in the Motor Warranty Claims Industry, through continued growth they are looking to recruit  a Motor Claims Technician to join their team.

Your role is to assess and validate the claim technically and to manage the relationships between the customer, dealership and manufacturer.

 

TAKE DECISION ON CLAIMS APPROVAL OR REFUSAL

  • Assess claims submitted.
  • Ensure the claim is covered by the policy, the quotation is correct (part

and labour cost, labour time) and in line with manufacturers’ guidelines.

  • Give approval or refusal (with supporting reason).
  • Request validation of a Manager as required.

MANAGE TECHNICAL RELATIONSHIP

  • Manage technical relationships with dealers and repairers.
  • Ask for further evidence from repairer to support decision.
  • Ensure all requested technical evidence is available to support a decision.
  • Escalate to Manager as directed.

COMPLEX CLAIMS

  • Commission independent expert for complex claims and manage the

outcome.

  • Support Incident Managers with mechanical basics, terms and

explanations.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Experience of Motor Warranties and Claims

Experience of repair and the technical elements of a car. (Desirable)
